Dynamic, genre-blending singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Jessica Sevier has been named the iHeartRadio Future Star for September and October, marking a major milestone with her new single “Good To Drive,” (The Orchard). The track will be featured across six Pure Country radio stations in Canada.
Co-written by Sevier, multi-platinum singer-songwriter Robin Ottolini and JUNO Award-winning producer Derek Hoffman (Tyler Shaw, The East Pointers),who also produced the track,“Good To Drive” delivers a powerful mix of raw storytelling and bold, gritty vocals. The track’s anthemic, hook-driven sound is a heartfelt ode to the kind of all-consuming, unshakeable longing that keeps you on standby—always ready for the next call.

““When I first wrote ‘Good to Drive’, I knew it was a special song, and seeing the way people have connected with it since its release has been incredible. The opportunities this song has opened up are things I’ve only ever dreamed of, “ says Sevier. Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way, and a massive thank you to the entire Pure Country and iHeartRadio team for believing in this song and my story.”
This year has been a whirlwind for Sevier, who recently signed with Paquin Artists Agency and has shared the stage with Dean Brody, Tenille Townes, Tyler Joe Miller, and the Jack Wharff Band. Her Good To Drive single continues to build, with recent radio features including Blackburn Radio’s Emerging Artist of the Month (August) and KX96 Oshawa showcase artist (July). This month, “Good To Drive” will also be spotlighted on Hot Country Halifax 103.5, where Sevier has been named Breakout Artist of the Month.
On the brand front, Sevier is set to take part in her second Volkswagen “influencer” campaign on September 4, where she’ll be documenting her experience at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), including the red carpet event, film screening, and after-party. Later that evening, she’ll join VIP guests and media at the TIFF party presented by Toronto Life and Hello Canada magazines.

This November, Sevier will also launch a month-long residency at Toronto’s iconic The Cameron House, where she’ll bring her unique, genre-blending sound to the stage every Tuesday night. Audiences can expect an intimate series of performances featuring fan favourites, fresh material, and surprise special guests.
